We are seeking a skilled and motivated technical mind who loves writing thoughtful software, isn't afraid of a challenge and is ready to expand his or her skill set. As part of the team you will work directly with co-founders to architect, build, and deploy technology for our clients’ products in areas such as live video streaming, e-commerce and social influencer marketing.
The ideal candidate is a polyglot; someone who may favor certain tool sets but is always evaluating new tools and carefully considering what is right for the job.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with engineering leads on backend related sprint tasks.
Lead development operations, production deployments, and maintenance tasks.
Work with team through product design, advising on technical considerations including level of effort and maintainability
Work with team through project management, advising on backlog, delivery schedules, and sprint planning.

Background:
Degree in CS or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience developing production software
An excellent communicator and team collaborator
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, Git preferred.
Experience with test driven development and agile methodologies
Production experience with Ansible, Chef, Salt, or equivalent configuration management tool
Bonus Points:
Experience with machine learning techniques and tools
Experience with C/C++, Python, Java, Go, or Lua
Heroku experience
Experience with third party API integrations
