Transmit.Live is a cloud based live streaming control room. The platform centralizes live stream operations by giving users the ability to manage, distribute, analyze and expand audiences for live content. Put another way, the platform is designed to help content owners manage and monetize their live stream productions more effectively. We are seeking a talented UX Director to help establish, create and own all aspects of User Experience across mobile and desktop environments. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who inspires those around them and is accountable for developing and directing UX work of the highest caliber.
Work in partnership with founders to set the UX direction and vision for the company
Manage the UX development process from concept to completion
Translate brand vision into clear UX strategies
Ensure cohesive brand experience is upheld across all touchpoints; online and offline
Review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback to creative team members
Establish brand guidelines and develop scalable templates to help create consistency across our platform, sales, and social
May solicit, evaluate, hire and manage third-party resources, i.e., agencies; production companies; directors and producers; designers, etc., engaged for concept development and production.
Work with team to ideate new and innovative UX features
Develops and tracks budgets for assigned projects (as required) .
Strong creative aesthetic paired with an understanding of and ability to shape the mbg brand vision and the corresponding market positioning and strategies
4+ years of UI/UX experience, human-computer interaction and usability
Expert skills in Sketch, proto.io, Invision, or other prototype tools
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, start-up style environment, think quickly, strategically and creatively to meet short deadlines
Hands on approach – no task too small, no deadline too tight, no client or editorial ask too tough
Must be able to manage feedback from multiple parties and deal with curve balls
- Hands on experience designing B2B, SaaS, Open Source and/or workflow-management products not required, but a plus
